WHEN WILL I GET MY ORDER?
Typically,
the process takes about two weeks from the time you approve the design. However, during peak seasons you may need to
plan for three weeks. Our busy season is
March-April and August-September. If you are placing an order during peak season be sure to include a rush request, if
needed.
HOW MUCH WILL THE EMBROIDERY COST?
If you
are purchasing a pre-embroidered item the embroidery is already figured into
the prices listed on our website. If you
are placing a custom order, however, there are other possible fees associated
with your order. Many items can be
personalized without an additional fee.
We’ll add text, up to 25 characters at no additional cost to you. There is a fee for custom digitizing.
DO YOU DO RUSH ORDERS?
Yes, we
can do rush orders, but we’ll need to give you a detailed quote based on your
needs. All express shipping costs,
including receiving of items from the warehouse, will be charged to you. We do not have a flat rate rush charge
because there are too many variables.
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
The Top
Stitch website is setup for Paypal, however, we also have our own merchant
account and can process your order via email or phone. We are PCI Compliant and treat your banking
information with great respect. We
accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We’ll
also accept checks, but will not begin production until your check clears the
bank.
DO YOU
HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER?
No order
is too small or too large, however, apparel and embroidery both cost less in
quantity.
WHAT IS
DIGITIZING?
Digitizing (also called
punching) is a process which converts artwork or photographs into a format that
can be utilized by advanced embroidery equipment. Many people confuse the term digitizing to
mean a digital copy of specified artwork.
Digitizing for embroidery usually STARTS with a digital file which is
then PUNCHED into instructions for the machine. Digitizing is a technical
process which interprets the artwork and tells the machine exactly where to
place the needle, what type of stitch to use and what color thread to use. Digitizing is a time-consuming process that
takes time to learn. A well digitized
design will make a huge difference in the outcome of your finished product.
HOW MUCH WILL DIGITIZING COST?
Digitizing
fees are based on the stitch count (the number of stitches the machine takes to
complete a design). That means larger
and more detailed designs will require more stitches, while smaller and less
complicated designs will cost less. THE
GOOD NEWS: Digitizing fees are a
one-time thing! As long as you repeat
the same design on future orders there are no further setup fees.
HOW DO I GET MY LOGO TO YOU FOR
DIGITIZING?
Send a
vector file to topstitch@theriver.com. (We can also use JPG, BMP, GIF or PDF, but
prefer a vector file). If we have
questions or need to make changes, we’ll let you know.
DO YOU SELL UNDECORATED MERCHANDISE?
Yes,
we will sell you anything on our website without embroidery.
DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX?
We are required to charge sales
tax within ARIZONA.
DO YOU MAKE PATCHES?
Yes, but it is a process and it takes longer. Please be sure to allow as much time as possible for your patch requirements.
